Releasing Tuesday, August 6th, Batman:Hush will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack as well as on Digital.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the 4K/Bluray Combo I reviewed in this Post. The opinions I share are our own.
HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED ANIMATED FILM NOW ARRIVING AUGUST 6, 2019 ON 4K ULTRA HD™ BLU-RAY COMBO PACK & BLU-RAY™ COMBO PACK
An adaptation of the seminal DC classic tale, Batman: Hush centers on a shadowy new villain known only as Hush, who uses Gotham’s Rogues Gallery to destroy Batman’s crime-fighting career, as well as Bruce Wayne’s personal life – which has already been complicated by a relationship with Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.
What’s great about the animated Warner Bros. films based off graphic novels is that you didn’t have to read it to understand. This film is faithful to the original story. Once again Warner Bros. has delivered a great story brought to life by an amazing and talented cast. The good sign to any story is when it ends that the viewer wants more. The animation is superb and Jason O’Mara as Batman really helps bring this story to life. This has an all-star cast for an all-star story and the viewer is the winner.
One of our favorite things are the special features and once again Warner Bros. delivered. The sneak peek at Wonder Woman: Bloodlines left us wanting more. The Sgt. Rock short was really well done and for those unfamiliar with Sgt. Rock, this will have them looking for more. The featurette Batman: Love in Time of War; was really enjoyable and provided more to depth to Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
As we said before, if you are a DC or Batman fan, this belongs in your collection and on Tuesday, August 6th you will be able to add it. Batman: Hush will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack ($39.99 SRP) and Blu-ray Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP) as well as on Digital ($19.99 HD). The 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc in 4K with HDR and a Blu-ray disc featuring the film; the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the film in hi-definition. The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Combo Pack include a digital version of the film.
