London-based musician, singer, songwriter and record producer TATIANA DEMARIA (founder, lead vocalist/guitarist for TAT) teams up with screenwriter/producer CRAIG TITLEY, Executive Producer of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., to bring you a special one-night-only red carpet event to mark the first solo performance by DeMaria in Los Angeles and to commemorate the release of the latest single from her upcoming solo debut record.
The concert, held at the legendary Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip, will be a star-studded event with a cross-section of entertainers and artists from the music world, the film and television world, and the comic book world, all sharing the floor with Tatiana’s fans, old and new, to be the first to hear some of her new material played live for the very first time. The concert will be filmed and documented, to be released as a full-length concert film at a later date for all the fans unable to attend and as a permanent document of this special night.
Along with the red carpet entrance (where every ticket-holding fan gets to be the star of the show) there will be an exclusive comic book created by Marvel writers and artists just for this one event and unavailable anywhere else. Everyone who attends will get one.
Titley, who is producing and promoting the show under his Discount Anarchy production banner, believes this unlikely alliance of his comic book and superhero world and Tatiana’s unique genre-bending style of rock and roll is a perfect fit. “Tatiana is one of my favorite artists of all time. She’s so badass and insanely talented that in my mind she’s a real live superhero. That’s why I want to bring all the flair and fun of a movie premiere or Comic-Con party to this event, making it a super-epic night for Tatiana and her fans.”
Tatiana DeMaria, founder and lead vocalist/guitarist of the rock band TAT, makes her Los Angeles debut as a solo artist in a one-night-only red carpet concert event to mark the release of her latest single from her solo debut record.
The London-based artist spent the early part of her career fronting TAT and producing U.K. underground Hip Hop. By the age of 18 she had written two U.K. charting singles, both from TAT’s 2008 debut album Soho Lights (for which she wrote or co-wrote all the songs). While TAT toured like road warriors, becoming fan-favorites on the Warped Tour from 2008-2015, Tatiana began writing and producing for other artists, movies and commercials as well as contributing her signature fiery and soulful vocals to other artists, most recently providing the vocals for LEFTI’s House hit, “A Different Kind.”
Her Los Angeles performance at the Whisky will coincide with the release of her latest single, a record that moves across the spectrum, pairing ruthless honesty with explosive choruses and deep, colorful production. The result is a sound she describes as “a blend of synthetic and organic sound” — a perfect meeting point between the spirit of the more rock-driven songs of TAT and the unique, genre-bending style she’s developed over the years.
