Doctor Strange is a story of how Doctor Stephen Strange learns magical arts on his journey to heal his hands. How he uses it to safeguard our earth from threats is what forms the rest of the story.

The plot is relatively new for the superhero genre for the scifi genre. For those who are very familiar with the world of complex thrillers this story might seem a tad predictable. The film continues the tradition of incorporating humor into the Marvel Universe.  The visuals are nothing short of spectacular. Tantalizing your visual senses, many sequences make you wish we can play those again in our mind in slow motion, just to see how every visual detail falls into place in a poetic way. The background score supports the movie well enough with worthy compositions. The editing is key here and done fantastically. Marvel has taken a lesser known character and turned into someone the viewer can’t get enough of.  With a great cast like Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton the fans are in for a treat.  Benedict Cumberbatch was the best choice for this role and portrays it perfectly..  One of our favorite “characters” is the red Cloak of Levitation.  It plays not only a critical role but maybe the most entertaining role in this film.

Doctor Strange is a great story and this is the beginning to a character we want to see more of and will in future MCU films. Doctor Strange will fit perfectly in your home collection.
